A Flash Flood Warning means a flash flood is imminent or occurring. These are dangerous, fast-moving floods. If you are in a flood prone area move immediately to high ground. It is even possible to experience a flash flood in areas not immediately receiving rain.
Combining flood warnings with radar helps you visualize active threats and understand storm movement in your area.
Shows flood warnings from the past to analyze recent patterns.
Historical data helps identify patterns and verify whether areas that received warnings were actually impacted by flooding.
Our radar layer shows precipitation intensity from light rain (blue) to intense storms (red/purple).
FloodWarn combines multiple official data sources to provide comprehensive flood monitoring:
Official flood warning polygons with precise geographic boundaries.
High-resolution radar imagery showing precipitation intensity and storm cells.
Professional mapping platform for interactive visualization and geographic analysis.
Data is automatically refreshed every 30-60 seconds for warnings (more frequently when active warnings exist) and every 5 minutes for radar imagery to ensure you have the most current information available.
